Birthday parties are so important at this age. Like going to a birthday party is BIG TIME. Strict business for an almost 4 year old. Especially when it's friends from school. The kids love to see each other outside of the classroom. Dakota has been anticipating going to his friend Elliott's 4th birthday at Build-A-Bear for almost 2 weeks. That's all he's talked about. So finally Saturday came, and I got him all dressed, ready to go. Strapped him in the car seat, grabbed the invite to make sure I was going on time. And guess what? The party was not Saturday. It was Sunday. Needless to say, Dakota did not find that very funny. So to make up for it, (here comes the spoiled brat part) we went to ToysRUs and we finally found the Batman monster truck he's been after. And it even came with a Monster Jam DVD. Bam! We have a happy camper again!
So today, we did it all over and this time, we actually went to the party! Here's some snapshots of the fun!
